This Council does hereby establish a Traffic Committee ("Committee") which shall consist of seven (7) members, appointed by the Council. COMMITTEE ESTABLISHED. This Council does hereby <br /> <br /> <br />establish a Traffic Committee ("Committee") which shall consist <br /> <br /> <br />of seven (7) members, appointed by the Council. All such <br /> <br /> <br />members, at the time of their appointment, and continuously <br /> <br /> <br />during their incumbancy, shall be residents and electors of the <br /> <br /> <br />City. To the greatest extent feasible, the Council shall appoint <br /> <br /> <br />such members from various geographical areas of the City. <br /> <br />2. TERMS OF MEMBERSHIP. The first seven members appointed <br /> <br /> <br />to the Committee shall serve for the following terms: two members <br /> <br /> <br />to serve a term of two (2) years; two members to serve a term of <br /> <br />three (3) years; and three members to serve a term of four (4) <br /> <br /> <br />years. Thereafter, all members shall be appointed for a term of <br /> <br /> <br />four (4) years. No member shall serve more than two consecutive <br /> <br /> <br />terms. <br /> <br />3. MEETINGS. Regular meetings of the Committee shall be <br /> <br /> <br />held at least once a month at a time and place to be established <br /> <br /> <br />by the Committee. All meetings shall be open to the public and <br /> <br />shall be conducted in accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act, <br /> <br />Government Code ~~54950-54961. Four members present shall <br /> <br /> <br />constitute a quorum for the transaction of business of the <br /> <br />Committee. <br /> <br />10268 <br />
