<br />SWC:sh 7/31/86 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0 2 7 6 <br /> <br />AUG 4 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR ESCROW SERVICES RELATED TO THE HOUSING <br />REHABILITATION PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a below-market interest rate improvement loan <br /> <br />program has been created by the City, utilizing a payback of <br /> <br />funds provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban <br /> <br />Development, for the purpose of improving the housing stock <br /> <br />within Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to engage United States Escrow, <br /> <br />Inc., to render escrow and related services in connection with <br /> <br />loans made by the City for residential improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Contractor represents that it is qualified to <br /> <br />perform services under this contract; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain Agreement by and between and the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and United States Escrow, Inc. for escrow and other <br /> <br />related services, a copy of which Agreement is on file in the <br /> <br />office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made <br /> <br />for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved; and the City <br /> <br />Manager is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement for and on <br /> <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10276 <br />
