<br />DES:djk 9/19/86 <br /> <br />SEP 2 2 1986 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />lU;J46 <br /> <br />OmG1NAl <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REPEALING SECTION 15 OF, AND ADDING SECTION <br />15 TO, THE RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE REDWOOD CITY <br />WATER SYSTEM RELATING TO WATER MAIN EXTENSIONS <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Section 15 (comprised of subdivisions (a) and (b)) of <br /> <br />the rules and regulations of the Redwood City water system (the <br /> <br />"Rules and Regulations for the Redwood City Water Department", <br /> <br />approved December 15, 1947, as amended to date) is hereby <br /> <br />repealed. <br /> <br />2. Section 15 is hereby added to the aforementioned rules <br /> <br />and regulations for the Redwood City water system to read as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />"Section <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Water <br /> <br />Main <br /> <br />Extensions. <br /> <br />An <br /> <br />application for permission to construct an extension to the <br /> <br />City's water distribution system ("water main extension") <br /> <br />shall be made in such form as the City shall specify. Every <br /> <br />application shall be submitted with plans and specifications <br /> <br />for the construction of the proposed water main extension <br /> <br />and the estimated cost of such construction prepared by a <br /> <br />registered civil engineer. <br /> <br />Every application shall be <br /> <br />accompanied with a deposit in an amount equal to the <br /> <br />estimated costs to the City (as determined by the City) of <br /> <br />reviewing and processing the application. <br /> <br />"Every applicant shall conform his or her plans and <br /> <br />10346 <br />
