<br />SWC: 12/11/86 (#18) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0 3 M 6 <br /> <br />ORIGlNAL <br />DEe 15 btj6 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENT WITH CITY OF FOSTER CITY RELATING <br />TO VEHICLE ACCESS TO BELMONT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Cities of Redwood City and Foster City entered <br /> <br />into an agreement dated July 6, 1981 (the "Agreement") providing, <br /> <br />among other matters, that Foster City not extend for roadway <br /> <br />purposes vehicle access into the City of Belmont across that <br /> <br />certain strip of land shown on the map marked Exhibit "A" of the <br /> <br />Agreement and described on Exhibit "B" of the Agreement, without <br /> <br />the prior written consent of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Foster City has requested that Redwood City permit <br /> <br />Foster City to extend for certain limited roadway and vehicular <br /> <br />access purposes, an emergency access/bike path into the City of <br /> <br />Belmont across the aforementioned strip of land described on <br /> <br />Exhibits "A" and "B" of the Agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is willing to grant the <br /> <br />request of Foster City and to amend the Agreement to provide for <br /> <br />such limited access; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE ; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement, entitled "Addendum to Agreement - <br /> <br />Vehicles Access" (form dated 12/11/86R), a copy of which is on <br /> <br />file in the office of the City Clerk and to which copy reference <br /> <br />is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved; <br /> <br />and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute said <br /> <br />agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />],1 Ii. ~i ~.: <br />t "*09 -J <br />
