<br />3:nt 11/05/87 (#22) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10680 <br /> <br />NOV 9 1987 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) TEN <br />TON EQUIPMENT TRAILER; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the purchase <br />of one (1) ten ton equipment trailer; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, two (2) bids were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mobile Hydraulic Equipment, Union City, California <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to accept the bid of said company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Mobile Hydraulic Equipment, Union City, <br /> <br />California for the sale of one (1) ten ton equipment trailer at a <br /> <br />total bid price of Nine Thousand Three Hundred Thirty and 47/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($9,330.47) computed in accordance with said bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated October 19, 1987, is hereby accepted; said bidder <br /> <br />is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br /> <br />for said trailer; and the other bid is hereby rejected. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />trailer <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />accordance <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars concerning the <br /> <br />terms and conditions thereof. <br /> <br />11 0680 <br />
