<br />SWC:djk 12/4/87 (#21) <br /> <br />DEe 7 1987 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10697 <br /> <br />ORiGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE TWO (2) PUBLIC SERVICE <br />EASEMENTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, <br />STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA; <br />SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL PERSONS <br />INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION; <br />AND ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE OF SUCH PROPOSED <br />VACATION (REDWOOD SHORES AREAS liE" AND "F") <br /> <br />WHEREAS, certain public service easements relating to <br /> <br />improvements to the lagoon system at Redwood Shores in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, heretofore dedicated and deeded to the City, are no <br /> <br />longer needed to restrict access across such street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends to <br /> <br />vacate said public service easements pursuant to the provisions <br /> <br />of Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing with Section 8300) of the <br /> <br />Streets and Highways Code; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate <br /> <br />two <br /> <br />(2 ) <br /> <br />public service easements as such easements are <br /> <br />hereinafter described, and elects to proceed with such vacation <br /> <br />pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing <br /> <br />with Section 8300) of the Streets and Highways Code. <br /> <br />2. The public service easements to be vacated were <br /> <br />established by and described in that certain document entitled <br /> <br />"Easement Agreement", dated August 6, 1973, and recorded in <br />Volume 6447, Pages 136-142, inclusive, in the office of the San <br /> <br />10697 <br />
