~ D~S:djk 12/03/87 (#7) DEe 2 1 1987 RES 0 L UTI 0 N N o. 1 0 709 OR'''''''I!\ , / luii'ii\:" RESOLUTION REQUESTING BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO TO PERMIT THE COUNTY CLERK TO RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD APRIL 12, 1988 WHEREAS, Section 22003 of the Elections Code of the State of California provides that the governing body of any city may, by resolution, request the Board of Supervisors of the County to permit the County Clerk to render specified services to the city relating to the conduct of an election; and WHEREAS, subject to the approval of the Board of Supervisors, such services shall be performed by the County Clerk; and WHEREAS, this Council desires that those specified election services set forth in "Exhibit A," attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein as if set out at length herein shall be performed by the County Clerk for the City of Redwood City for the General Municipal Election to be held April 12, 1988; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. Request is hereby made of the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo to permit the County Clerk to render those certain services for the consideration specified and set forth in "Exhibi t A" hereof for the City of Redwood City for its General Municipal Election to be held April 12, 1988. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to transmi t a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo. * * * 10709
