<br />DAS:bjl 4/25/88 (#22) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~o.10779 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAY 2 1988 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VACATING A STREET EASEMENT (A PORTION OF <br />THE NORTH SIDE OF ORCHARD AVENUE EAST OF WOODSIDE <br />ROAD) IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY IN ACCORDANCE <br />WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE <br />OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 (commencing at <br /> <br />~8300) of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the <br /> <br />State of California, the Council of the City of Redwood City by <br /> <br />its Resolution No. 10752, adopted March 28, 1988, declared its <br /> <br />intention to vacate the street easement heretofore dedicated as <br /> <br />described and depicted in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and <br /> <br />incorporated herein by reference and commonly known as a portion <br /> <br />of the northside of Orchard Avenue east of Woodside Road in the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code, notice of intention to vacate the abovementioned <br /> <br />street easement has been published and posted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds that the <br /> <br />street easement as described and depicted in Exhibit "A" is <br /> <br />unnecessary for present or prospective public purposes and hereby <br /> <br />orders said street easement vacated. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to record a <br /> <br />certified copy of the resolution and order in the office of the <br /> <br />County Recorder of the County of San Mateo. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10779 <br />
