<br />DAS.~jl 4/27/88 (#22) <br /> <br />MAY 2 1988 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO.10 783 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF REDWOOD <br />CITY LIBRARY PARKING LOT; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 10758, adopted April 4, <br /> <br />1988, the City Clerk called for bids for construction of the <br /> <br />Redwood City Library Parking Lot; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call eleven bids were received for <br /> <br />the performance of said work; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Raymond J. Bragato, Inc., Belmont, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to Raymond J. Bragato, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Raymond J. Bragato, Inc., in the lump sum of <br /> <br />One Hundred Forty-five Thousand Six Hundred Thirty and No/lOO <br /> <br />Dollars ($145,630.00), computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated April 26, 1988, for construction of the Redwood <br /> <br />City Library Parking Lot, is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement <br /> <br />Construction of the <br /> <br />Redwood City Library Parking Lot", by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and Raymond J. Bragato, Inc., for the performance of <br /> <br />said work in accordance with the abovementioned bid proposal, a <br /> <br />10783 <br />
