<br />SWC.~jl 4/20/88 (#22) <br /> <br />10789 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAY 1 6 1988 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AMENDMENT TO NARCOTICS TASK FORCE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the cities within the County of San Mateo entered <br /> <br />into a joint exercise of powers agreement ("JPA") with the County <br /> <br />of San Mateo, dated March 26, 1985, to establish the San Mateo <br /> <br />County Narcotics Task Force; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council a proposed <br /> <br />amendment to the JPA in the form attached hereto; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said amendment and to authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Tha t certain amendment entitled "Amendment to Joint Powers <br /> <br />Agreement Establishing the San Mateo County Narcotics Task <br /> <br />Force", by and between the cities within the County of San Mateo <br /> <br />and the County of San Mateo, a copy of which amendment is <br /> <br />attached <br /> <br />hereto <br /> <br />as <br /> <br />"Exhibit <br /> <br />A" <br />, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />incorporated <br /> <br />herein <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />reference, is hereby approved, and the Mayor is hereby authorized <br /> <br />and directed to execute said amendment for and on behalf of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10789 <br />
