<br />SWC:djk 07/21/88 <br /> <br />(#21) <br />ORIGINAL <br />JUL 2 5 1988 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0 827 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF COMPUTER UPGRADE <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.76 of the Code <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City this Council has, on motion duly made <br /> <br />on the affirmative vote of at least five (5) members of said <br /> <br />Council, suspended the requirements of Article VII of Chapter 2 <br /> <br />of said Code relating to the purchase of materials, equipment and <br /> <br />supplies with regard to the purchase hereinafter authorized. <br /> <br />2. This Council does hereby authorize and direct the City <br /> <br />Manager to execute a purchase agreement with Prime Computer for <br /> <br />an upgrade to the 9955-II CPU with 8 additional megabytes of main <br /> <br />memory and one additonal 496 megabyte disk, at a total cost not <br /> <br />to exceed $167,000.00 <br /> <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents required in connection with the purchase <br /> <br />authorized herein for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br />provided, however, all such documents have first been approved as <br /> <br />to form by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />1 0 82 7 <br />
