<br />DAS:dlk 08/04/88 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10850 <br /> <br />(#20) <br />AUG b ~ <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />SAND, AGGREGATE, PEA GRAVEL AND FINES FOR 1988-89 <br />FISCAL YEAR; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />THEREFOR; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10823, adopted June 11, <br /> <br />1988, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of sand, <br /> <br />aggregate, pea gravel and fines for 1988-89 Fiscal Year; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said materials; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lewis Trucking, San Carlos, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said materials, <br /> <br />and it is the intention of this Council to award said bid to <br /> <br />Lewis Trucking; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Lewis Trucking, in the amount of Thirty Seven <br /> <br />Thousand Two Hundred Ninety-nine and 49/100 Dollars ($37,299.49), <br /> <br />more or less, for the furnishing of sand, aggregate, pea gravel <br /> <br />and fines for 1988-89 Fiscal Year in accordance with the bidder's <br /> <br />proposal, dated August 2, 1988, and in accordance with the <br /> <br />specifications therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br /> <br />is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared <br /> <br />to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />materials. <br /> <br />10850 <br /> <br />""",,_"_,"O""'"'_~'~~_~_~~."~'__~~'~~'_'~_~_"_,.~,,~~ ____~__.___~_~.__ <br />
