<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />DAS:mmq 8/4/88 (#22/015) <br />AUG 8 1988 <br /> <br />Of?/G/NAL <br /> <br />No.10853 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PUBLIC UTILITY OR <br />SERVICE EASEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION <br />9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA; SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL <br />PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED <br />VACATION; AND ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE OF SUCH <br />PROPOSED VACATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public utility or service easement in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, as respectively described and depicted in Exhibits <br /> <br />"A" and "B" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, <br /> <br />and commonly known as a portion of the Peninsula Boardwalk <br /> <br />Shopping Center in the City of Redwood City, is not needed for <br /> <br />present or prospective public utility or service purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends to <br /> <br />vacate said easement pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of <br /> <br />Division 9 (commencing with ~8300) of the Streets and Highways <br /> <br />Code; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to <br /> <br />vacate a public utility or service easement, as respectively <br /> <br />described and depicted in Exhibits "A" and "B", commonly known as <br /> <br />a portion of the Peninsula Boardwalk Shopping Center in the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City and elects to proceed with such vacation <br /> <br />pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing <br /> <br />with ~8300) of the Streets and Highways Code. <br /> <br />2. Notice is hereby given that Monday, September 12, 1988, <br /> <br />at the hour of 7:30 p.m., in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, <br /> <br />10853 <br />
