<br />SWC. dj k 08/01/88 (# 2 0) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10857 <br /> <br />AUG ,8 1988 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH CENTER FOR THE INDEPENDENCE OF THE <br />DISABLED, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Center for the Independence of the Disabled <br /> <br />("CID") which is presently engaged in the operation of programs <br /> <br />to assist the disabled desires to conduct a program to provide <br /> <br />housing accessibility modifications to selected residents in the <br /> <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, CID has requested financial assistance in order to <br /> <br />conduct such a program for residents of the City who comply with <br /> <br />income level requirements, during the fiscal year commencing July <br /> <br />1, 1988 and ending June 30, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires that CID conduct such program, <br /> <br />and is willing to render such financial assistance; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br /> <br />08/01/88), a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of <br /> <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby <br /> <br />made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the <br /> <br />City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the agreement <br /> <br />approved herein for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10857 <br />
