<br />DAS:mma 8/19/88 (#23/023)ORIGINAl <br />AUG 2 2 1988 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10863 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR FABRICATION AND <br />INSTALLATION OF INTERIOR SIGNS AT NEW MAIN LIBRARY; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10838, adopted by the <br /> <br />City Council of the City of Redwood City on July 25, 1988, the <br /> <br />Ci ty Clerk called for bids for fabrication and installation of <br /> <br />interior signs at the new Main Library; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, one bid was received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Environmental Sign Systems, Alameda, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to Environmental Sign Systems. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Environmental Sign Systems, in the sum of <br /> <br />Thirty Three Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-two and 30/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($33,692.30), computed in accordance with bidder's bid form dated <br /> <br />August 15, 1988 for fabrication and installation of interior <br /> <br />signs at the new Main Library, is hereby found and declared to be <br /> <br />the lowest bid for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />entitled <br /> <br />"Agreement <br /> <br />Fabrication <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Installation of Interior Signs at the New Main Library" by and <br /> <br />between the City of Redwood City and Environmental Sign Systems, for <br /> <br />10863 <br />
