<br />DAS:mma 8/17/88 (#23/006) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10866 <br /> <br />AUG 2 2 1988 <br />OTNGUVAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) <br />USED UNDERCOVER VEHICLE FOR THE CHIEF OF POLICE: AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager called for bids for the purchase <br /> <br />of one (1) used undercover vehicle for the Chief of Police; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, one (1) bid was received for <br /> <br />the purchase of said used undercover vehicle; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, National Car Sales, Burlingame, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to National Car Sales; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of National Car Sales, in the sum of Ten <br /> <br />Thousand Two Hundred Forty-five and no/100 Dollars ($10,245.00), <br /> <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated August 9, <br /> <br />1988, for the sale of one (1) used undercover vehicle for the <br /> <br />Chief of Police is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br /> <br />used undercover vehicle. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of said used undercover vehicle in accordance with the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars concerning the <br /> <br />10866 <br />
