<br />DAS:mma 8/19/88 (#23/010) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0 868 <br /> <br />AUG 2 2 1988 <br />On/r'l~l~. 1 <br />1\ UI. dlL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SUMMARILY VACATING NON-ACCESS RESTRICTION; <br />AND ACCEPTANCE OF DEEDS FOR STREET DEDICATION (TWIN <br />DOLPHIN DRIVE) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3, Chapter 4 of <br /> <br />Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of <br /> <br />California, (Commencing with Section 8330) the legislative body <br /> <br />may summarily vacate a public service easement, including an <br /> <br />access restriction, if such easement has been superseded by <br /> <br />relocation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a non-access restriction over a portion of a public <br /> <br />street (Twin Dolphin Drive) is no longer needed, because such <br /> <br />restriction has been relocated; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council wishes to accept deeds for street <br /> <br />dedication for the widening of, and construction of a right turn <br /> <br />lane at, Twin Dolphin Drive near Shoreline Drive; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council has authorized the City Clerk to accept, <br /> <br />on behalf of the City of Redwood City, that certain "Grant of <br /> <br />Additional Public Right-of-Way (Twin Dolphin Drive)" and "Grant <br /> <br />of Easements and Relinquishment of Access Rights" offered to the <br /> <br />City by Redwood Shores Inc., and Spieker - Redwood Associates, <br /> <br />respectively; which documents grant a street dedication to the <br /> <br />City, and establish a non-access line at Twin Dolphin Drive. <br /> <br />10868 <br />
