<br />AUG 22 1988 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />(7/15/88) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1'10.10869 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH CENTER FOR INDEPENDENCE OF THE DISABLED, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Center for the Independence of the Disabled, Inc., has been <br />established for the principal purpose of providing support services for <br /> <br />the disabled geared to assist in their independence; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Center for Independence of the Disabled, Inc., has <br /> <br />requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its <br /> <br />activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1988 and ending <br /> <br />June 30, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> <br />desires to pay to Center for Independence of the Disabled, Inc., the <br /> <br />sum of EIGHT THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FIFTY AND NO/lOa DOLLARS <br />($8,150.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Center for Independence <br /> <br />of the Disabled, Inc., and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />10869 <br />
