<br />DAS: mrnrr 11/2/88 (# 2 3 / 0 39 bRIGINAL <br />NOV 7 1988 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.I0930 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR UNION CEMETERY IMPROVEMENTS <br />PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 109l4, adopted by the <br /> <br />City Council of the City of Redwood City on September 26, 1988, <br /> <br />the City Clerk called for bids for Union Cemetery Improvements <br /> <br />Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, one bid was received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Fisk, Firenze & McLean, Inc., Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to Fisk, <br /> <br />Firenze & McLean, Inc.. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />l. The bid of Fisk, Firenze & McLean, Inc., in the sum of <br /> <br />One Hundred Sixty Two Thousand Five Hundred Ninety-one and 25/l00 <br /> <br />Dollars ($l62,59l.25), computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal for Union Cemetery Improvements Project, is hereby found <br /> <br />and declared to be the lowest bid for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement Union Cemetery Improvements <br /> <br />Project" by and between the City of Redwood City and Fisk, <br /> <br />"1-1) 93 0, <br />
