<br />MJp:mmg l2/l3/88 (#23/052) <br /> <br />DEe 1 91988 <br />.oRJr' . <br />U/, ~/IJ... <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. 1. 0951 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE <br />CENTER, INC. <br /> <br />AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />PENINSULA CONFLICT RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center, Inc., a <br /> <br />California non-profit corporation, has been established for the <br /> <br />principal purpose of improving neighborhood and community <br /> <br />communication in furtherance of the public order, health and <br /> <br />welfare in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City has found <br /> <br />and determined that the Neighborhood Boards Program so operated <br /> <br />and conducted by said corporation is of general value to the <br /> <br />residents of the City of Redwood City, and will result in public <br /> <br />benefit to the whole community; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City proposes to contribute to the Peninsula <br /> <br />Conflict Resolution Center, Inc., the sum of Twenty-two Thousand <br /> <br />and No/100 Dollars ($22,000.00) during the fiscal year July 1, <br /> <br />1988 through June 30, 1989; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain amendment (form dated~,88), by and between <br />the City of Redwood City and the Peninsula Conflict Resolution <br /> <br />Center, Inc., a copy of which agreement is on file in the office <br /> <br />of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for <br /> <br />full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br /> <br />Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for <br /> <br />and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10951 <br />
