<br />DES:mmn 12/27/88 (#24/058) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10961' <br /> <br />JAN 9 1989 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF RAILROAD CROSSING <br />IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />(SEAPORT COURT) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Southern Pacific Transportation Company owns and <br /> <br />maintains a railroad right-of-way and tracks across which Seaport <br /> <br />Court, a public right-of-way owned by the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />extends; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to relocate said crossing in order <br /> <br />to accommodate construction in the vicinity thereof; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to, and reviewed by, this <br /> <br />Council an agreement between the Southern Pacific Transportation <br /> <br />Company and the City of Redwood City pursuant to which said <br /> <br />company shall perform the work of improvement necessary to <br /> <br />relocate said crossing, a copy of which agreement is attached <br /> <br />hereto and marked Exhibit "A" and by this reference incorporated <br /> <br />herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve said agreement and <br /> <br />authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the Southern Pacific <br /> <br />Transportation <br /> <br />Company, <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />corporation, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />10961 <br />
