<br />DAS:m~~ 1/19/89 (#23/068) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />1I\Or')/\ <br />NO. -L......lL.il.. <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JAN 231989 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING EL CAMINO REAL SPECIFIC PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Title 7, Article 8, <br /> <br />commencing with Section 65450 of the Government Code of the State <br /> <br />of California, the City may prepare and adopt specific plans as <br /> <br />may in its judgment be required for the systematic implementation <br /> <br />of the City's General Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has prepared a specific plan entitled "EI <br /> <br />Camino Real Specific Plan - City of Redwood Ci ty" to guide the <br /> <br />future development of the EI Camino Real Corridor within the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said specific plan, is a short-range and long-range <br /> <br />guide for the public and private sector, and sets forth goals, <br /> <br />policies, incremental land use plans, and standards, and specific <br /> <br />implementation measures; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, after duly noticed public <br /> <br />hearing, has recommended that this Council adopt said specific <br /> <br />plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council, upon said recommendation, and after <br /> <br />duly noticed public hearing, finds that said specific plan is <br /> <br />consistent <br /> <br />with, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />required <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />systematic <br /> <br />implementation of the City's General Plan for the EI Camino Real <br /> <br />Corridor; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The EI Camino Real Specific Plan as more particularly <br /> <br />described in that document entitled "EI Camino Real Specific Plan <br /> <br />- City of Redwood City" (form dated 11/15/88) copies of which are <br /> <br />on file in the office of the Planning Director, is hereby <br /> <br />adopted. <br /> <br />10970 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
