<br />DAS:mmg 04/20/89 (#23/112) <br /> <br />APR 2 4 1989 <br /> <br />11 02 7 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR STREET RESURFACING <br />PROJECT 1988-89; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br />SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11002, adopted by the <br /> <br />City Council of the City of Redwood City on March 20, 1989, the <br /> <br />City Clerk called for bids for Street Resurfacing Project <br /> <br />1988-89; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, nine bids were received for <br /> <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, O'Grady Paving, Inc., Mountain View, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to O'Grady Paving, Inc. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of 0' Grady Paving, Inc., in the sum of Six <br /> <br />Hundred <br /> <br />Eleven <br /> <br />Thousand <br /> <br />Sixty-nine <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />56/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($611,069.56), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated April 18, 1989, for Street Resurfacing Project 1988-89, is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest bid for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement <br /> <br />Street Resurfacing <br /> <br />Project 1988-89, Project" by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />and 0' Grady Paving, Inc., for the performance of said work in <br /> <br />accordance with the abovementioned bid proposal, copies of which <br /> <br />..... <br /> <br />71 <br />.
