<br />DAS : d j } 15/18 /89 ( # 2 3 / 12 7 ) <br /> <br />U"P1nrfJAL <br />l\iUI Ii <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N 0.11 040 <br /> <br />MAY 2 2 1989 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASING OF ONE AIR <br />TRUCK BODY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.80 the City <br /> <br />Manager called for bids for the purchase, of one air truck body; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, one (1) bid was received for <br /> <br />the purchase of said air truck body; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, John Russo Industrial Sheetmetal, Inc., San Jose, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to John <br /> <br />Russo Industrial Sheetmetal, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of John Russo Industrial Sheetmetal, Inc., in <br /> <br />the sum of Sixteen Thousand Three Hundred Seventy-two and 07/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($16,372.07), computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated May 8, 1989 for the sale of one air truck body is <br /> <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to <br />be the lowest responsible bidder for said air truck body. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of said one air truck body in accordance with the <br /> <br />above mentioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars concerning the <br /> <br />terms and conditions thereof. <br />
