<br />DES:mmg 1/01/89 (#25/002) <br /> <br />ur~IGiNAL <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.II05~ <br /> <br />JUN 5 1989 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR BROADWAY RECONSTRUCTION <br />PROJECT PHASE I, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />FOR SAID WORK, AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY <br />DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11035, adopted by this <br /> <br />Council on May 1, 1989, the City Clerk advertised for bids for <br /> <br />Broadway Reconstruction Project - Phase I; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement for bids, one bid <br /> <br />was received and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Golden Bay Construction Company, Inc., San Carlos, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of Golden <br /> <br />Bay Construction Company, Inc. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Golden Bay Construction Company, Inc., in <br /> <br />the sum of Five Hundred Seventy-six Thousand Nine Hundred <br /> <br />Thirth-five and NoI100 Dollars <br /> <br />($576,935.00) , computed in <br /> <br />accordance with bidder's proposal dated May 30, 1989, for <br /> <br />Broadway Improvements Phase I, is hereby accepted, and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br /> <br />said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled II Agreement <br /> <br />Broadway Improvements <br /> <br />Phase I II by and between the City of Redwood City and Golden Bay <br />
