<br />CES:djw 08/21/89 (057/25) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />SEP 1 1 1989 <br />N o.--llllL ORIGiNAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE SALE OF TWO (2) VAN <br />PELT FIRE PUMPER TRUCKS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />SALE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 11082, adopted July 17,1989, <br /> <br />two Van Pelt Fire Pumper Trucks were declared to be surplus <br /> <br />property and the City Clerk was directed to advertise for bids <br /> <br />for the sale of said surplus property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Clerk did advertise for bids for the sale <br /> <br />of the two (2) Van Pelt fire pumper trucks heretofore declared <br /> <br />surplus; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, one (1) bid was received for <br /> <br />the purchase of the two (2) Van Pelt Fire Pumper trucks; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ukiah Fire Department, Ukiah, California, is <br /> <br />the highest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to accept the bid of the Ukiah Fire Department; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The <br /> <br />bid of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Ukiah <br /> <br />Fire <br /> <br />Department, <br /> <br />Ukiah, <br /> <br />California, for the purchase of two (2) Van Pelt fire pumper <br /> <br />trucks at a total bid price of Twenty-five Thousand Four Hundred <br /> <br />and NO/lOa Dollars ($25,400.00) computed in accordance with said <br /> <br />bidder's proposal dated August 15, 1989, is hereby accepted; said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the highest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for said trucks, and this Council hereby finds that said <br />
