<br />DES:dj~ 08/04/89 (009/26) <br /> <br />SEP 11 1989 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NQ.1-1-1-3-1 <br /> <br />OHIG!~P\b- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT AMENDING WATER SUPPLY CONTRACT WITH CITY AND <br />COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO TO REVISE WATER SERVICE AREA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9579 adopted May 14, <br /> <br />1984 by this Council, the City of Redwood City entered into that <br /> <br />certain "Water Supply Contract" (the "Supply Contract") with the <br /> <br />Ci ty and County of San Francisco to provide for the sale of <br /> <br />domestic water to this City for resale wi thin the service area <br /> <br />specified in the Supply Contract; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this City desires to transfer a portion of its <br /> <br />service area (hereinafter described) to the City of Menlo Park, <br /> <br />California, a municipal corporation of the State of California; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to provide for said transfer, it is <br /> <br />necessary to amend the Supply Contract with respect to the <br /> <br />service area therein described; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement Amending Water <br /> <br />Supply Contract" (form dated 08/04/89) by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and the City and County of San Francisco revising <br /> <br />this City's water service area as specified in the Supply <br /> <br />Contract, a copy of which amendment to agreement is attached <br /> <br />hereto, marked Exhibit "I" and by this reference incorporated <br /> <br />herein, is hereby approved, and the City Manager and City Clerk <br />
