DES:djk sl/17/96 (062/41) <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 2/12/96 <br /> <br /> R E S 0 L U T I 0 N N O. 12695 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR RED MORTON COMMUNITY <br /> PARK PLAYGROUND; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF BID SECURITY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12594 adopted August 28, <br />1995, this Council authorized advertisement for bids for the Red <br />Morton Community Park Playground; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in response to said advertisement, four bids were <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has determined that said bids <br />(including the apparent lowest responsible bid) had exceeded the <br />amount estimated for the Project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as a result thereof, this Council desires to <br /> <br />exercise its reserved right to reject all bids for the Project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> All bids received in response to advertisement for bids made <br />pursuant to Resolution No. 12594 adopted August 28, 1995 for the <br />Red Morton Community Park Playground are, and each of them hereby <br />is, rejected, the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />return to each bidder the bid security furnished by said bidders <br />in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders for said Project. <br /> <br /> <br />
