<br />7/25/2005 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2284 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE I, SECTION 2.23 OF <br />THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO <br />MEETINGS OF PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Chapter 2 (Administration), Article I (In General), Section 2.23 <br /> <br />(Meetings of Planning Commission) of the Redwood City Municipal Code is hereby <br /> <br />amended in its entirety to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Sec. 2.23. MEETINGS OF PLANNING COMMISSION: <br /> <br />Unless notice is otherwise provided, regular meetings of the Planning <br />Commission of the City of Redwood City shall be held at City Hall, 1017 <br />Middlefield Road, Redwood City, on the days and at the hour designated <br />by the Planning Commission by resolution adopted by such body and all <br />such meetings shall be open to the public. Any meetings of the Planning <br />Commission may be cancelled in advance by order of the Commission <br />entered upon the minutes thereof. If the meeting is so cancelled, the <br />Secretary of the Planning Commission shall forward written notice <br />thereof to each member of the Commission and to such other persons <br />that request such notice and have filed their names and addresses with <br />the Secretary of the Planning Commission, unless such notice is waived <br />in writing or unless the member in question is present at the meeting. <br />Failure of any Commission member or any other person to receive notice <br />of cancellation or of a change of meeting location shall not invalidate or <br />otherwise affect the action of the Commission in cancelling the meeting. <br />The provisions of Section 2.21 and 2.22 of this Article relative to <br />adjourned and special meetings of the Council shall be applicable to and <br />shall govern the Planning Commission with the following modifications: <br />the Term "Commission" shall be substituted for the term "Council"; the <br />term "Chairman of the Planning Commission" shall be substituted for the <br />term "Mayor"; the term "Secretary of the Planning Commission" shall be <br />substituted for the term "City Clerk"; and the term "Planning Director" <br />shall be substituted for the term "Deputy City Clerk". <br /> <br />SECTION 2.
