DES:djk nl/10/96 (041/38) <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 2/5/96 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I 0 N N O. 12691 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING RATES OF CHARGE FOR SANITARY <br /> INSPECTIONS, COLLECTIONS, RECYCLING AND REMOVAL OF <br /> REFUSE IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to agreement with the South Bayside <br />Transfer Station Authority, a rate analysis has been conducted <br />regarding sanitary inspection, refuse collection and recycling <br />services in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of said Authority, of which <br />this City is a member agency, revisions to the rates of charge <br />for said purposes have been proposed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 14.31 of the <br />Code of the City of Redwood City, schedules of charges for such <br />purposes shall be established by resolution of this Council; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The schedule of charges for sanitary inspection, refuse <br />collection, recycling and refuse removal services in the City of <br />Redwood City is hereby established as set forth in Exhibits "A" <br />and "B" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference <br />incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 2. This resolution shall be effective upon its adoption; <br />provided, however, the rate schedule established pursuant to <br />paragraph 1 shall be implemented prospectively to apply to <br />services rendered from and after the commencement of each billing <br />cycle or cycles established for the customers of the franchisee <br />of the City of Redwood City which provides said services. <br /> <br /> <br />
