06/09/2008 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2330 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20.44 OF CHAPTER 20, ARTICLE <br /> IV OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY TO <br /> REDUCE THE LEGAL SPEED LIMIT ON VARIOUS DESIGNATED <br /> STREETS <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. Section 20.44 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby <br /> amended in its entirety to read as follows: <br /> "Section 20.44. It is hereby determined upon the basis of an engineering <br /> and traffic survey that a speed greater than the speed permitted by State law <br /> would facilitate the orderly movement of vehicular traffic and would be <br /> reasonable and safe upon the following streets, and it is hereby declared that the <br /> prima facie speed limit shall be as hereinafter set forth on those streets or <br /> portions thereof herein designated when signs are erected giving notice thereof: <br /> Name of Street Declared Prima <br /> Portions Affected Facie Speed Limit <br /> A.
