<br /> DES:dft 12/9/91 (003/11) <br /> o RIG I 1'1 A L 1/13/92 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2047 <br /> --------- <br /> ORDINANCE APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT BETWEEN THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION OF THE <br /> CALIFORNIA PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM, <br /> RELATING TO BENEFITS PERTAINING TO LOCAL FIRE MEMBERS <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. That certain amendment to the contract between <br />the Council of the City of Redwood City and the Board of <br />Administration, California Public Employees' Retirement System, <br />in the form of Exhibit "A" , attached hereto, and by this <br />reference incorporated herein, is hereby approved. <br /> SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Redwood <br />City are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to execute, <br />and to attest thereto, respectively, said amendment for and on <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) <br />days after the date of its adoption; provided, however, that said <br />ordinance shall not be adopted prior to the expiration of twenty <br />(20) days following adoption by this Council of a resolution of <br />intention to approve the above-described contract amendment. <br /> * * * <br />
