ORDINANCE NO. 2072 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE HEADING AND SECTIONS 38.5 <br />AND 38.14 OF CHAPTER 38 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO WATER SERVICE CHARGES AND <br />CAPITAL FACILITIES FEES <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. The Article Heading of Article II of Chapter 38 <br />of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read <br />as follows: <br /> "Article II. Water Service and Facilities Charges" <br />SECTION 2. Section 38.5 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br />City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 38.5. Water Service Charge. In addition to <br />all other charges and fees applicable to users of water from <br />the water system owned or operated by the City of Redwood <br />City, as established by the water rules and regulations, as <br />amended, and this chapter, residential and non-residential <br />monthly water service charges shall be paid for each water <br />service within the water service areas and at the rates and <br />effective dates as follows. <br /> " (a) Residential Water Service Charge. A monthly <br />water service charge for each dwelling unit or dwelling unit <br />equivalent ( I DUE I ) for each such unit used, or intended for <br />use, as a single-family residential dwelling, irrespective <br />of whether such service is furnished through a single meter <br />- - <br />
