DES:d='' ,05/06/96 ORD-001 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2109 June 24, 1996 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 38.8 AND 38.14 OF CHAPTER <br /> 38 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY TO REVISE <br /> WATER SERVICE CHARGES AND THE DESIGNATION OF <br /> DEPARTMENTAL AUTHORITY, RESPECTIVELY <br /> <br /> THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. Section 38.5 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is <br /> hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 38.5. Water Service Charqe. In addition to all other <br /> charges and fees applicable to users of water from the water system <br /> owned or operated by the City of Redwood City, as established by the <br /> water rules and regulations, as amended, and this chapter, residential <br /> and non-residential monthly water service charges shall be paid for each <br /> water service within the water service areas and at the rates and effective <br /> dates as follows: <br /> <br /> "(a) Residential Water Service Charqe. A monthly water <br /> service charge for each dwelling unit or dwelling unit equivalent ('DUE') for <br /> each such unit used, or intended for use, as a single-family residential <br /> dwelling, irrespective of whether such service is furnished through a single <br /> meter for multiple dwelling units or through individual meters for each <br /> dwelling unit, is hereby established as follows: <br /> <br /> 1 <br /> <br /> 2109 <br /> <br /> <br />
