SWC:yc:7/11/80 ORIGINAL ORDINANCE NO. 1825 JUL 21 1980 --------- - - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING THE FINAL BUDGET OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 1980 - JUNE 30, 1981; PROVIDING FOR THE APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE OF ALL SUMS SET FORTH IN SAID BUDGET; PROVIDING FOR EMERGENCY EXPENDITURES, TRANS- FERS, ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS AND CANCELLATION OF EXISTING APPROPRIATIONS; AUTHORIZING CONTINUATION OF "SPECIAL STATE DEFLATOR RESERVE" PROGRAM; PROVIDING FOR THE DISPOSITION OF UNENCUMBERED MONIES AND FUNDS AT THE CLOSE OF FISCAL YEAR 1979-1980; AMENDING THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 32.15 OF THE REDWOOD CITY CODE RELATING TO THE DISPOSITION OF PROCEEDS COLLECTED UNDER ARTICLE I, CHAPTER 32, OF SAID CODE; ADOPTING THE BUDGETS FOR GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS NO. 1-64, NO. 1-65, NO. 2-65, AND NO. 3-65 FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 1980 - JUNE 30, 1981; PROVIDING FOR INTERIM EXPENDITURES AS OF JULY 1, 1981; AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1789 AND ORDINANCE NO. 1819, AND ALL ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, in accordance with the Charter of the City of RedwooŒ City, the City Manager has submitted to the Council of the City of Redwood City a proposed annual budget for the fiscal year July 1, 1980 - June 30, 1981; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 51.5 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, after due public hearing and notice, the Council of Redwood City has approved said budget and said budget has been certified by the City Clerk and the City Manager as the final budget of the City for said fiscal year; and WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Council of Redwood City to adopt the above mentioned certified copy of said budget, as amended, presently on file in the office of the City Clerk; NOW, THEREFORE; SECTION 1. Adoption of Budget. That certain above mentioned budget for the fiscal year July 1, 1980 - June 30, 1981, approved by the Council of Redwood City and certified by the City Clerk and the City Manager, presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, entitled "City of Redwood City Budget, 1980-1981," is hereby referred 1825 .~..o ~_.,-'-..
