c,~.l-:djg-c 9/18/81 ORIGINAL ORDINANCE NO. 1846 SEP 2 8 1981 --------- - - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1842 TO PROVIDE FOR THE FIXING AND LEVYING OF THE TAX RATE ON PUBLIC UTILITY PROPERTY WITHIN GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1-64 WHEREAS, the County of San Hateo has requested that this City fix and levy a tax rate for public utility property located within General Improvement District No. 1-64; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to amend Ordinance No. 1842 to provide for this levy and to reflect the City's estab- lished policy of having public utility property subject to the tax rate; NOW, THEREFORE; THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION l. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1842 is hereby amended to read as follows: "SECTION 1. General. The following general and special tax rates for General Improvement District No. 1-64 hereinafter set forth are hereby levied and fixed, for the fiscal year July 1, 1981-June 30, 1982, in the amounts set forth herein as follows, to wit: (a) One ~1illion Three Hundred Seven Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-Eight and No/IOO Dollars ($1,307,838.00) , for the payment of principal and interest on Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64 Facilities Bonds, Series A,B,C,D and E for deposit in the Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64, 1964 Facilities Bond Principal and Interest Fund, and the special tax rate therefor is hereby levied and fixed at $1.8626 on each One Hundred Dollars of the assessed value of all taxable real property within the limits of General Improvement District No. 1-64 as said District was established by Resolution No. 4274, adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City on May 4, 1964, together with all territory thereafter annexed thereto, as said value has been established in accordance with Ordinance No. 1290, adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City on January 30, 1967. 1846 .....,_.
