<br /> c,~.l-:djg-c 9/18/81 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1846 <br /> SEP 2 8 1981 <br /> --------- - - <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1842 <br /> TO PROVIDE FOR THE FIXING AND LEVYING OF THE TAX RATE <br /> ON PUBLIC UTILITY PROPERTY WITHIN GENERAL IMPROVEMENT <br /> DISTRICT NO. 1-64 <br /> WHEREAS, the County of San Hateo has requested that this City <br />fix and levy a tax rate for public utility property located within <br />General Improvement District No. 1-64; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to amend Ordinance <br />No. 1842 to provide for this levy and to reflect the City's estab- <br />lished policy of having public utility property subject to the tax rate; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION l. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1842 is hereby amended <br />to read as follows: <br /> "SECTION 1. General. The following general and special tax <br />rates for General Improvement District No. 1-64 hereinafter set forth <br />are hereby levied and fixed, for the fiscal year July 1, 1981-June 30, <br />1982, in the amounts set forth herein as follows, to wit: <br /> (a) One ~1illion Three Hundred Seven Thousand Eight Hundred <br />Thirty-Eight and No/IOO Dollars ($1,307,838.00) , for the payment <br />of principal and interest on Redwood City General Improvement District <br />No. 1-64 Facilities Bonds, Series A,B,C,D and E for deposit in the <br />Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64, 1964 Facilities <br />Bond Principal and Interest Fund, and the special tax rate therefor is <br />hereby levied and fixed at $1.8626 on each One Hundred Dollars of the <br />assessed value of all taxable real property within the limits of General <br />Improvement District No. 1-64 as said District was established by <br />Resolution No. 4274, adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood <br />City on May 4, 1964, together with all territory thereafter annexed <br />thereto, as said value has been established in accordance with Ordinance <br />No. 1290, adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City on January <br />30, 1967. <br /> 1846 <br /> .....,_. <br />
