<br /> "' '" <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> SfP 1 3 1982 <br /> ORDINANCE 1863 <br /> <br /> --------- <br /> AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 12 OF THE <br /> CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; AND ADDING ARTICLE <br /> II OF CHAPTER 12 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> RELATING TO FIRE PREVENTION; AND ADOPTING BY REFERENCE <br /> THE "UNIFORM FIRE CODE, 1982 EDITION," AS PUBLISHED <br /> BY THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF BUILDING OFFICIALS <br /> AND THE WESTERN FIRE CHIEFS ASSOCIATION <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. Article II (commencing at 12.7) of Chapter 12 of the Code <br /> of the City of Redwood City is hereby repealed. <br /> SECTION 2. Article II (commencing at 12.7) is hereby added to Chapter <br /> 12 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, to read as follows: <br /> ARTICLE II <br /> FIRE PREVENTION CODE <br /> Secti on 12.7 (a) Pursuant to Section 50022.1, et seq., of the <br /> California Government Code and Section 15 of the Charter of the City of <br /> Redwood City, the 'Uniform Fire Code, 1982 Edition (including Appendix <br /> Chapters I, II, III, and IV) , as published by the International <br /> , Conference of Building Officials and the Western Fire Chiefs Association, <br /> is hereby adopted and shall be in effect within the City of Redwood City <br /> to the same extent as if set out in full herein, except as expressly <br /> amended by the provisions of this article. <br /> " (b) In the event of any conflict between the provisions of the <br /> Uniform Fire Code, 1982 Edition, hereinafter referred to as the 'Fire <br /> Code, , and the provisions of this article, the provisions of this article <br /> shall govern. <br /> 1 863 <br /> -"~.. <br />
