<br /> DAS:dik 11/18/88 (#007/7) <br /> DEC 1 91988 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1984 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> --------- <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1968 <br />ADOPTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ON <br />MAY 23, 1988 RELATING TO EXCESS WATER USE CHARGE <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 7 of Ordinance No. 1968 adopted by the <br />Council of the City of Redwood City on May 23, 1988 is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> "SECTION 7. EXCESS WATER USE CHARGE. There is hereby <br />established an excess water use charge in the amount of Two <br />Dollars ($2.00) per unit of water, or any fraction of a <br />unit, consumed by any user in excess of the water use <br />allotment established for such user under Section 5(a) <br />hereof, for any billing period; provided, however, that no <br />excess use charge shall be imposed upon any residential user <br />for any monthly billing period in which such user's <br />consumption is five units or less, or for any bi-monthly <br />billing period in which such user's consumption is ten units <br />or less. Such excess use charge shall be imposed and <br />payable at the time of billing for the billing period during <br />which such excess use occurred." <br />SECTION 2.
