o R s A L (11/27/95) RESOLUTION NO. 12673 Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of Agreement With Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. (TEWCI) WHEREAS, Target Education and Wslfare Council, Inc. (TEWCI) is a private, non-profit agency that provides a means to enhance the quality of life of the people of the target community with particular emphasis on the elderly, ethnic minorities and Iow-income families; and WHEREAS, Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. (TEWCI), has requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1994 and ending June 30, 1995; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to pay to Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. (TEWCI) a private, non-profit agency the sum of Thirty-Five Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($35,000) and; WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. (TEWCI) has been presented to this council and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: That certain agreement (form dated 11/27/95), by and between the City of Redwood City and Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. (TEWCi) a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City.
