0 R I G I N A L 12/19/95 <br /> <br /> (11/27/95) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12672 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With South County Teen Pregnancy Task Force/Teen Talk <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, South County Teen Pregnancy Task Force/Teen Talk is a private, non-profit <br />agency that provides an educational program to prevent early pregnancy among our student <br />population and to advocate for the need of child care on a high school site, so young parents can <br />stay enrolled in school until graduation; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, South County Teen Pregnancy Task Force/Teen Talk, has requested financial <br />assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br />1994 and ending June 30, 1995; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said <br />request and desires to pay to South County Teen Pregnancy Task Force/Teen Talk a private, non- <br />profit agency the sum of Five-Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($5,000) and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the South County Teen <br />Pregnancy Task Force/Teen Talk has been presented to this council and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 11/27/95), by and between the City of Redwood <br />City and South County Teen Pregnancy Task Force/Teen Talk a copy of which agreement is on file <br />in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars <br />thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute <br />the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
