0 R I G I N A L 12/19/95 <br /> <br /> (1 1/27/95 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12661 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Friends For Youth, Inc, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Friends For Youth, inc. is a private, non-profit agency that provides service <br />to at-risk youth by creating and cultivating long-term, one-to-one friendships with adult <br />volunteer mentors; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Friends For Youth, Inc., has requested financial assistance for use by it in <br />conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1994 and ending June 30, <br />1995; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to pay to <br />Friends For Youth, Inc. a private, non-profit agency the sum of Three-Thousand Two Hundred <br />and No/100 Dollars. ($3,200) and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Friends For Youth, Inc. <br />has been presented to this council and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the <br />same; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 11/27/95), by and between the City of Redwood <br />City and Friends For Youth, Inc. a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, <br />and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of <br />the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
