0 R I G I N A L 12/19/95 <br /> (11/27/95) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12659 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Ellipse Peninsula Aids Services <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ellipse Peninsula Aids Services is a private, non-profit agency that provides <br />assistance to individuals in San Mateo County who are HIV infected; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ellipse Peninsula Aids Services, has requested financial assistance for use by <br />it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1994 and ending June <br />30, 1995; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to pay <br />to Ellipse Peninsula Aids Services a private, non-profit agency the sum of Fifteen-Thousand and <br />No/100 dollars ($15,000) and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Ellipse Peninsula Aids <br />Services has been presented to this council and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />approve the same; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 11/27/95), by and between the City of Redwood <br />City and Ellipse Peninsula Aids Services a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the <br />City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
