0 R I G I N A L ~/19/95 <br /> <br /> (11/27/95) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12658 <br /> <br /> Reaolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Community Education Program <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Community Education Program is a private, non-profit agency that provides <br />a quality multicultural preschool experience for children from diverse backgrounds; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Community Education Program, has requested financial assistance for use by <br />it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1994 and ending June <br />30, 1995; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to pay <br />to Community Education Program a private, non-profit agency the sum of Sixteen-Thousand and <br />No/100 dollars ($16,000) and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Community Education <br />Program has been presented to this council and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />approve the same; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 11/27/95), by and between the City of Redwood <br />City and Community Education Program a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the <br />City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
