-4/22/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12742 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF THE SECOND <br /> AMENDMENT OF THE DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT <br /> FOR THE MEZES PLAZA PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood <br />City (the "Agency) and Mezes Group, Inc., a California <br />corporation (the "Developer") have negotiated a Second <br />Amendment (the "Amendment") to that certain agreement <br />entitled "Disposition and Development Agreement for the Mezes <br />Plaza Project," as amended (the "DDA"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City (the "City") is a <br />party to the DDA to the limited extent that the City is to <br />contribute to the Project an easement eight (8') feet in <br />width for underground parking under the portion of Broadway <br />that abuts.the Project Site; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed and considered the <br />Amendment. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> This Council hereby approves and authorizes the <br />Mayor and the City Clerk to execute and to attest, <br />respectively, that certain Amendment entitled "Second <br />Amendment of Disposition and Development Agreement for the <br />Mezes Plaza Project" on behalf of the City of Redwood City, <br />such execution to bind the City to the limited extent set <br />forth in the DDA and the Amendment thereto. <br /> <br /> <br />
