<br />12/10/2007 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14824 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING SILVIA VONDERLlNDEN AS CITY CLERK <br />OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND APPROVING AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT FOR <br />POSITION OF CITY CLERK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to appoint Silvia Vonderlinden as City Clerk <br /> <br />pursuant to the provisions of Section 32 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />effective from and after December 27,2007; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of said employment are set forth in the <br /> <br />agreement hereinafter referenced; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Silvia Vonderlinden is hereby appointed City Clerk of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City effective from and after December 27, 2007, to hold said office at the pleasure of <br /> <br />the Council of the City of Redwood City, subject to the provisions of the Charter of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />2. That certain agreement entitled, "EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT-CITY <br />CLERK," (form date~c?EAJHER /z~ by and between the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />a municipal corporation of the State of California, and Silvia Vonderlinden ("Employee"), <br /> <br />setting forth the terms and conditions of employment between the City and said <br /> <br />Employee, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the city clerk, to which <br /> <br />copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and <br /> <br />the Mayor and Deputy City Clerk are herby authorized and directed to execute and to <br /> <br />Atty/Reso/Reso.1766 <br />112707 <br /> <br />14824 <br />Muff #901 <br />
