DES:djk 03/28/96 (090/41) <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 4/15/96 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12726 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF <br /> ONE (1) VIBRATORY ASPHALT ROLLER UNDER THE COOPERATIVE <br /> PURCHASE PROVISIONS OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE BID <br /> #P9501512 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.80 the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by <br />Section 54201 of the California Government Code to purchase <br />materials, equipment, or supplies on behalf of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Roseville, Bid %P9501512 includes a <br />Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other public agencies <br />the opportunity to purchase equipment from Ingersoll-Rand <br />Construction Equipment Sales of San Leandro, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of the City of Roseville conforms <br /> <br />to the requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2.80; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />purchase one (1) Vibratory Asphalt Roller from Ingersoll-Rand <br />Construction Equipment Sales pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase <br /> <br />Provision of the City of Roseville Bid #P9501512; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute all necessary and appropriate documents for and on behalf <br />of the City of Redwood City for the purchase of one (1) Vibratory <br />Asphalt Roller from Ingersoll-Rand Construction Equipment Sales <br />for a total cost of Twenty-eight Thousand Six Hundred Fifteen and <br />05/100 Dollars ($28,615.05) pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase <br /> <br /> <br />
