DES:d~'-.02/22/96 (079/41) <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 3/11/96 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12711 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN <br /> SPECIFIED LAW ENFORCEMENT EQUIPMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were <br />solicited for the purchase of fourteen (14) MP-5-A2 nine <br />millimeter rifles and fourteen (14) magazines for the Police <br />Department for law enforcement purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation two bids were <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Firearms for Law Enforcement of Arroyo Grande, <br />California is the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid thereof; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Firearms for Law Enforcement for the sale of <br />fourteen (14) MP-5-A2 nine millimeter rifles and fourteen (14) <br />magazines to the City of Redwood City in the amount of Fifteen <br />Thousand Six Hundred Seventy-three and 81/100 Dollars <br />($15,673.81) computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br />dated October 17, 1995, which bid is on file in the office of <br />the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for the full <br />particulars thereof, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br />the sale of said firearms and ammunition to the City. <br /> <br /> <br />
