1/29/01 <br />ORIGINAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14139 <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING AND AUTHORIZING <br />CALIFORNIA STATE OFFICE OF PROCUREMENT TO <br />PURCHASE CERTAIN HEREIN DESCRIBED VEHICLES AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br />THEREFOR <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Pursuant to the provisions of Redwood City Code Section 2.80 and <br />Public Contracts Code Section 10324, this Council does hereby authorize and <br />request the Office of Procurement of the State of California to purchase under <br />Contract No. 1- 01- 23- 14 -01, on behalf of the City of Redwood City, certain <br />materials, supplies and equipment, to wit: six (6) 2000/2001 Model CHP Class <br />"E" Special Service Police Vehicles conforming to specifications of the <br />Department of Public Works Services of the City of Redwood City. <br />2.
