0 R I G ~ ~ A L 12/11/95 (11/06/95) RESOLUTION NO. 12647 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH CHILD CARE COORDINATING COUNCIL OF SAN MATEO COUNTY WHEREAS, the Child Care Coordinating Council (4C's) of San Mateo County is a private, non profit agency, established for the principal purpose of mobilizing, coordinating and developing resources towards the expansion of quatity child care services and is experienced in promoting and guiding the implementation of a community wide plan to provide child care services to Redwood City children; and; WHEREAS, Child Care Coordinating Council of San Mateo County has requested financial assistance in order to conduct its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1995 and ending December 31, 1995; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Child Care Coordinating Council of San Mateo County on Behalf of the Redwood City Child Care Consortium, the sum of TWENTY THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED EIGHTY SEVEN AND NO/lO0 DOLLARS ($20,667.00); and WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Child Care Coordinating Council of San Mateo County has been presented to this Council and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: That certain agreement (form dated 11/06/95), by and between the City of Redwood City, and the Child Care Coordinating Council of San Mateo County, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City.
