DES:djk 70/27/95 (033/41) <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 11/6/95 <br /> <br /> R E S 0 L U T I O N N O. 12630 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br /> IMPROVEMENTS AT SHANNON PARK; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12610, adopted September <br />25, 1995, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Construction <br />of Improvements at Shannon Park, Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, twelve bids were <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Watkin & Bortolussi, Inc. of San Rafael, <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br />intention and desire of this Council to accept said bid of <br /> <br />Watkin & Bortolussi, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Watkin & Bortolussi, Inc., in the amount of <br />Two Hundred Ninety-five Thousand Five Hundred Ninety-four and <br />No/100 Dollars ($295,594.00), computed in accordance with said <br />bidder's proposal dated October 25, 1995, for the construction of <br />improvements at Shannon Park, is hereby accepted, and said bidder <br />is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br />for said work. <br /> <br /> <br />
